The guiding season at the Nigardsbreen Glacier start on May 15th with the short blue ice walk at 11:45

Today it is still a lot snow at the Nigardsbreen but by good weather conditions it is possible with an earlier start of the glacier hikes season. Contact us if more info is needed.

Glacier guiding Nigardsbreen: Special Blue Ice Hike

If you would like to experience a more challenging glacier tour on the Nigardsbreen, you can take a fife hour glacier hike in the blue ice of the Nigardsbreen in the Jostedalen valley.

In small groups of max. 6 people, you can enjoy a more demanding blue ice trek and you will also try out some exciting ice climbing on a steep ice wall with a pair of climbing axes completely safe because of the top rope.

Date and time:	10.07 - 25.08. Monday - Saturday at 10:30.
Duration:	On the ice about 5 hrs. A total of approx. 6 hrs.
Agelimit:	Min. 12 years.
Required:	Take warm, windproof clothing and food and drink with you.The clothing must cover the whole body (no shorts or T-shirts).
Participant:	Min. of 2 pers. per guide. Max. of 6 pers. per guide.
Price:	NOK 760.- glacier equipement incl.
Tickets:	Purchase at Glacier Visitor Centre latest 1 hour before start.
Meeting- point:	Meet the guide at the equipment depot at the car park by the glacier lake about 15 minutes before starting.
