Hiking in Jotunheimen
For many years Jostedalen Breførarlag have collaborated with the hosts of the tourist chalet of Fondsbu (DNT) at Eidsbugarden in providing mountain guiding services to lofty and well known summits in the surrounding area.
  • Glacier equipement is necessary because we walk across a glacier. All glacier equipement is included.
  • Requirement: Good physical shape, hiking/trekking experience and a minimum age of 12 years. Good and warm clothing.

Falketind (2067)
This ascent offers some scrambling over slabs and small cliffs at a few points. The route passes through Morka-Koldedalen valley, goes over Stølsnosbreen glacier and continues on rock to the summit.

  • Monday and Saturday. From 25.08 Saturday only.
  • Difficulty: Difficult.
  • Duration: 10-12 hrs.

We cross the Uranosbreen glacier and continue up a wide ridge towards the narrow summit ridge.
