The guiding season at the Nigardsbreen Glacier start on May 15th with the short blue ice walk at 11:45

Today it is still a lot snow at the Nigardsbreen but by good weather conditions it is possible with an earlier start of the glacier hikes season. Contact us if more info is needed.

Mountaineering courses

	Glacier walking course After completion of the glacier course, you should be competant enough to travel safely in a rope team over moderately demanding glaciers and icefalls. Week long course or Mini-course (3 days).
	Rock climbing course Our climbing courses are held in Jostedalen and the Hurrungane range. You will receive an introduction to climbing and safety techniques. Week long course or(3 days). Mini-course (3 days)
	Alpine course (mountaineering course) Introduction to ice- and rock climbing. Suitable for customers who have completed a glacier course. Travel the whole Nigardsbreen icefall. Climb Store Skagastølstind, Norway's highest climbing peak. Week long course (6 days).
	NF-instructor courses (glacier) We are certified to hold qualifiying courses for glacier guides and instructors. These courses are conducted in norwegian only.
