Nigardsbreen - Short Blue Ice trip

Glacier guiding Nigardsbreen: Short Blue Ice Hike

Big, massive and impressive the Nigardsglacier pulls down through the valley in Jostedalen near by the Sognefjord. With help of trained Glacier guides, the right equipments and some expert instruction it is no big case to walk on the blue ice.

This is not a hard or physically demanding trip but the route trough the blue ice landscape with towers and crevasses is not flat and in some parts it climbs quite step up or down. Therfore you should be used to walk on a easy mountain path.

It is suitable for all who wish to experience on a short hike what glacier hiking is really like.
