Experience the most spectacular sights of the Nigardsbreen Glacier!

Experience the blue ice of the Nigardsbreen in a small group of max. 6 people before all the other tourists visit the glacier. We take the first boat across the Nigardsbreen Lake and experience a unique and quiet nature. As you know, early birds peck first…

In such a small group, you get good contact with the tour guide. He gladly answers questions about the glacier or the local history of Jostedalen and the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Before the tour begins, you are instructed thoroughly by the leader about the use of crampons, rope, ice ax, etc.

Included in the hike is a lunch package (please inform us if you are a vegetarian) and the exhibition at the Breheimsenteret, the Glacier Visitor Centre.

Glacier equipment, the transportation with the boat and a lunch package.

What to Bring

Warm, wind- and waterproof clothing, gloves, sunglasses and hiking boots. The clothing must cover the whole body (no shorts or skirts without leggings).

Gloves you can borrow from us, if needed.

Private hike

Please inform us by mail not telephone about the desired date, the desired start time between 09:45 – 12:00 and number of persons. If there still are vacant guides, will send you a booking link. The reservation is valid as soon as the tour is booked and paid.
